Apple, iOS Development

7/11/2020: We have made the decision to end support for all of our iPhone apps. Please see the full statement on the Apps Download page.

4/14/2017:It's been a while since I released anything for the iPhone. I've built 3 new Android apps over the past few months. But nothing that really was suitable for iPhone. Until now... The Gravity Simulator Game is already finished and available for Android. I am building the iPhone version now. Should be done in a couple of weeks!!

11/18/2016:I have 6 apps in total, up and running. If you're interested, the Moon Phase Clock is the one that is currently the most popular. As such, I responded to a couple of requests for updates, including souther hemisphere support. That had never occurred to me before someone inquired about it.

09/10/2016: Moving along here now... 4 apps are finished and up on The App Store. 5 if you include the paid version of the Concert Lighter. The Christmas Countdown app is up for review now. Considering it's almost entirely the same program as the Halloween app, I expect it will pass.

08/30/2016: The Halloween Countdown app is in review now. It was my mission to get that one done in a timely manner. And by that I mean, before Halloween. The Android version of that app gets installed like 2000 times right before Halloween, and then 75% of the people drop it right afterward. My next mission is, of course, to get the Xmas countdown done.

08/25/2016: Last night I got word that the 2nd of my submitted apps has been approved and is now available on iTunes store (or The App Store, I'm not sure how we're supposed to brand this yet). So the Concert Lighter and EZ Tip Calculator are done and out in the wild!

08/10/2016: As of my writing this today, my first 2 apps are in Beta testing, and running on actual iOS devices! Assuming there are no hangups with anything, those apps should be live for download this weekend!

08/8/2016: As of my writing this today, I am almost ready to release the first app (The Halloween Countdown).
Apple doesn't make it easy. Every time I think I've jumped the last hurdle, I find 2 more that I didn't know about. As happy as I am to finally be able to say "I can develop for iPhones now!", it has been a long brain-hurting process.

These things take time. I am working on the apps one by one. Each one needs to be written from the ground up. All I can really reuse are the graphics. The process of creating the new version is only the first step. If you've been following this story, I've got a couple of apps done, and a good few more on the way!
